It is a Panel that represents some aggregated information presented by just one or several numbers almost always with hyper link leading to more detailed report or chart.

See two Figures below. One for Client ("Average Time") and one for Internal ("Truck Dom Stats").

Dashboard is believed to be a better mechanism (in some cases) for the purpose of user notifications than scheduled reports.

(1) A Performance Indicator or Key Performance Indicator (KPI) is an industry jargon term for a type of Measure of Performance.[1] KPIs are commonly used by an organization to evaluate its success or the success of a particular activity in which it is engaged. Sometimes success is defined in terms of making progress toward strategic goals,[2] but often, success is simply the repeated achievement of some level of operational goal (zero defects, 10/10 customer satisfaction etc.).

(2) in Cybertrax context is used interchangeably with #Dashboard Report for KPI related reports. This is misleading if used for reports that are not directly related to reports measuring "Performance".
