The requirements for ocean FCL will be the same as the requirements covered in both:
CK model for Rates DB Air (requirements)
AND
Unlike Air, which has only one spreadsheet shared between offices, Ocean FCL has several spreadsheets, in different formats.
Each spreadsheet will be uploaded into the project mantis 2690 and mantis 3097 Implement phase 3 (CK model for FCL)
[edit] Current Business Process
The current business process for ocean FCL is similar to that of Air ( CK model for Rates DB Air (requirements) ).
The difference for ocean is that the information that is shared, is on multiple spreadsheets.
These spreadsheet are all in different formats.
Each spreadsheet is being updated by difference offices.
- EU-FE is handled by the Europe offices.
- EU-US is handled by the New York office
- FE-EU is handled by Europe offices
- FE-US is handled by the Hong Kong office
- US-EU is handled by the New York office
- US-FE is handled by the New York office
These spreadsheets are also being shared through dropbox and are still password protected.
