Requirements

There are number of reports required. See below.

Cost per pound REQ

Core Need

This report that would allow Arden to compare the actual costs vs. the cost per pound for budgeting purposes. As well as assist them in shaping their vendor decisions.

Functionality & Summary

The concept for this is report is to start at a top level and be able to drill down to a finite level.

  • The top level, would list the average cost per lb
    • This is the average number based upon the total number of records and their total costs
  • The next level would list the Shipper
  • The next level would list the Consignee
  • The next level would list the Lanes
    • This is both the Pickup Company's & the Delivery To Company's State & Zip - which is an attribute of the CT_bo#Export_Delivery_To object
  • The next level would list the Carrier
  • The next level would list the Utilization
    • This is the average weight per truck
    • It is based upon the average number of pallets Commodity#Plts per truck, or the average number of loose packages Commodity#Loose_Pkgs per truck load

The concept for this is report is to be able to report on the total costs involved per truck load, to start at a top level and be able to drill down to a more finite level.

  • The top level, would list the average total cost per truck load
    • This is the average total number of records and their total costs
  • The next level would list the Shipper

  • The next level would list the Lanes
