EU (European Union) Customs will be enforcing new regulations which will require information be sent via EDI to the airlines prior to departure. This will go into effect on 12/31/10 at 12:01 am
Business Requirements
We will need to send Descartes FWB and FHL messages which will contain all of the required information as noted below.
The New York office is the only office that will be required to do this.
It will only need to be done for airlines that we book directly with and are destined to or trans-shipping through a EU location.
