Requirements
Paul is unhappy because he:
- has more work than he can handle
- all work comes in as urgent
- would like to spend max 10% on Level 1 IT tasks
Level 1 IT tasks
- basic IT - routine tasks
- Office core
- non IT
Level 2 IT tasks
- CT2 (R&D and support )
- advanced IT
- managing / training Level 1 resource
Design Ideas
Weekly report. Goal of this report: To analyze current flow of tasks and create mechanism to reduce to minimum or eliminate Paul's involvement into IT level 1
Removing Level 2 from Paul
- basic IT
- option 1) hire outside vendor - remote desktop
- option 2) from inside - hire
- non IT - remove from IT
- Office basics - train users
Additionally:
- migrate to cloud
