Intro

Descartes (Jaguar partner) is offering Automated Air Status Update Service

This service allows airfreight shipments booked directly by Jaguar with the airlines, to be fed automatic status updates (departure and arrival dates), removing our need to manually check and then update the status of Airfreight shipments.

It is our understanding that in order to send updates Descartes needs to receive only MAWB number.

Logic & Conditions for Status Updates to be received

1. Airline must participate in air status messaging. The list of current, participating airlines can be found under the Admin Menu > Air Status/EUAN Admin see [[]].

2. Airline field name must be filled in AND not blank.

3. The MAWB number must be filled in (all 11 digits).

4. Airport of Departure name must be filled in.

5. Estimated Departure date must be filled in.

NOTE: If the departure or destination airports indicated on the incoming messages do not exist or match the CT records departure or destination airports will be ignored and the record will not be automatically updated.
