Tasks management

All tasks will come through Mantis and will be posted into 2 folders:

  • IT Inbox
    • for systems support tasks; currently only Sugar category
    • auto assigned by mantis
  • IT/CT2 Sys Adm
    • for systems developemnt
    • assigned by Alex, etc

For work that does not fall under any existing mantis Vlad must create mantis himself (for reporting purposes, etc).

Mantis fields:

  • P - priority
  • .emh - estimated man hours (to set before start)
  • .m/h - total hours spent

Use standard approach to setting status field:

  • feedback - task is not clear, post question and assign back to reporter
  • accepted - task is clear but not yet started
  • started
  • completed
  • closed - to be set by Manager
  • statusX - means on hold

Reporting

Monthly report required with columns:

  • Category (IT or CT2)
  • m/h
  • m#
  • Mantis Summary

to be posted into http://ct.jaguarfreight.com/mantis/view.php?id=2726 in the form of spreadsheet file
