Business Needs
Core need
Automate the assignment of file reference numbers to CT records (Jaguar export ref, import ref, third party ref), to take the burden off of the operators. Currently each Jaguar office has specific file reference number sequence's associated with their CT records. These numbers are used to identify how their office is involved in the shipment, meaning if they are arranging the import or export for it, but management would now like to make these file reference number sequence's uniform company wide and would like this managed somewhere inside of CyberTrax, so as each office will not need to keep a separate log book to record these numbers.
Requirements
Admin Functionality
- Have counter into CT Admin for file reference numbers
- Add ability for each office to set their sequence numbers
- Add ability to create new file file sequence numbers per AM/Office
- Add ability to associate a file reference sequence to an AM, including the JFS office that the AM is a part of
- Add ability to list the number of operators that work under an AM and keeping historical changes
- Number preferred to be in half numbers, 0.5,1,1.5,2,2.5, etc, as some operators handle work for 2 separate AM's
- IE, user Gabrielle O'Flaherty handles ALL air export shipments. She handles both the Elizabeth Arden Air Export shipments, which are under AM Robert Link's responsibilities and the Coty Air Export shipments, which are under AM Jeanine Favia's responsibilities
- Number preferred to be in half numbers, 0.5,1,1.5,2,2.5, etc, as some operators handle work for 2 separate AM's
- Add reporting capabilities for file sequences individually or corporately per office
- See #Admin_Mockup
