About this document

This article describes all features, bugs, tweaks, etc included into new Sprint.

Intended for wide audience: end users, managers, support, etc.

Sprint and Release Info

  • Start: July 12 Tue
  • Release to Staging: Aug 15 Mon
  • Release to Production: Aug 18 Thu
  • Number of tasks: 18
  • Sprint approved by CT2 Board on: July 22
  • Holidays/PTO: This Sprint has a very large number of vacations. Every developer will take 1-2 weeks vacation and some BAs will take 1 week vacation.

Description: Managing DRs/Reports, access rights, configurations, etc. This would include improvements for user list, user profile management, user groups, etc.
  • #3092 (Cost per pound) Significantly improve Look and feel. Fix bugs. Add missing functionality.

Please note that the above tasks will not be fully completed in this Sprint. Solutions will be created, documented, presented and some of them coded.

#2295 Cargo Due Date. Add this feature & date fields to CT2 internal & client app shipper/planner view (hours: 15 / 25 / 25)

Description: "Cargo due date" feature would allow for better optimization, by knowing the number of days to put off picking up shipments; to be able to add more pickups, in the future, to maximize the trucks capacity.

Ops Miscellaneous project

  • #2711 Implement solution to "32000 subdirs limit" problem (that is alternative to Cloud solution)(hours: 21 / 21 /21)
Description: Linux OS has limitation on the number of sub directories where we keep uploaded files, docs, invoices. Current solution implies creating one folder per CT. Number of CTs is growing very fast. When we reach the limit files will not be accessible.
Cloud solution implies monthly fee. Alternative discovered solution is free.

Accounting Miscellaneous project

#3023 P & L report. Create special view or filter that shows the P/L info for ONLY one specified office. (hours: 16 / 24 / 24)

Description:
Currently operators have the option to run this report by office, but when this filter is selected, it shows P/L details of any other office related to the same CT records. We do not want to change this report, this report is useful the way it currently is.
Accounting needs a way to select a filter or special view that will only generate results for the specified office.
All of the outputs should remain the same, but the results should only include the total sales, total purchases, total internal invoices from, the total invoices to, and the total profit/loss for the specified office ONLY.
This filter or special view should also be able to be generated in addition to the other special views (shipment groups and charge code group column)
